Our History
There is not a pawnshop in South Texas that has a manager with more experience in the pawn business than ours. Scot Ferguson has been in the business as a manager for EZ Pawn, First Cash Pawn, and Plus Pawn.
He started in the pawn business in 1993 and he has a wealth of knowledge of the inner workings of a corporate pawnshop, and a complete grasp of what it takes to bring one to its knees. He likes to remind people that, “This ain’t no stinking corporate pawnshop.”
He will do what is necessary to give you the best pawnshop experience available through customer service, and to spend the extra time to do research on your items to determine a fair value.
Our store is not run by mindless drones. It is run by mindless professional pawnbrokers who can make decisions and don’t have to call the corporate office every time they want to write a loan.

And you can rest assured that every person who works here is willing and wanting to help you get the best deal we can give.
Many of our team members have been with us since the very start, so we won't take it too hard if you have a favorite. It's hard not to, right? But even our newest employees are ready and able to make sure you have the best experience possible.

We are a full service pawnshop, privately owned so we don’t have corporate monkeys on our backs. When you deal with one of our employees, you are dealing with our family, so everyone cares to make you the best deal possible. We really can loan more and sell for less because of our low overhead.
Unlike other stores, our goal is to loan you as much money as we can, and do everything we can to help you get your pawned merchandise back. We buy guns every day, so our inventory is constantly changing. We have silver bullion and gold coins available for sale every day... We can loan on just about anything, and we do! We pawn cars, trailers, motorcycles, ATVs, lawnmowers, heavy equipment, almost anything. Our store changes every day.
